Being a Partner with God
"I'm a partner with Him, so I get full rights to the benefits of being a partner."
~ Dr. Kevin L. Zadai
After you watch the video and read the study notes on this page, answer these questions here on the Blog mentioned above:
By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.
—2 Peter 1:3-4 NLT
DISCUSSION:
God, through Jesus Christ, has given us benefits in our relationship with Him. These promises have come by His divine power so that we can live a Godly life. Some of the benefits we received are forgiveness of sins daily, past sins forgiven, divine life and health, healing, deliverance, financial provision, and restoration with relationships, to name a few. The precious promises we are partakers of have to do with the inheritance given to us in the Saints (see Ephesians 1:17-23). Paul said that the Holy Spirit was going to open the eyes of the people to see this inheritance. We see supernatural provision and healing taking place all through the Bible. For example, the bag of money Judas had always was full. We never see Jesus putting money in the bag, yet we saw where there was money going out of it all the time. It was common for Judas to give money to the poor. When he got up to leave at The Last Supper, even the disciples thought he was going to give to the poor. We also see that Jesus walked the earth as a man and that He never got sick. There is no report of the disciples getting sick. We have received all of this by God’s divine power and because we’ve come to know Him.
PARTAKING IN YOUR INHERITANCE
God told me, don’t wait to get to Heaven to start to partake in your inheritance. You can walk in it down here. I'm already starting to dip into my inheritance. I’ll take a little healing here and there when I need it. I'm going to take a little prosperity when I need it and some mental health and deliverance. I'm going to eat from the table, and I'm not going to just eat the steak; I'm going to eat the vegetables, and I'll even have dessert. I'm going to take a little bit of everything off the table because it's been given to us. We have these great and precious promises that enable us to partake in healing or deliverance and forgiveness. I'm going to take some of the ability off the table to allow me to forgive and enable me to go on with life so that I may have hope and faith.
o Through His divine power, we receive God's promises and benefits as a Christian. What does this say about you as a child of God and your inheritance? Do you grasp what Jesus actually did for you? Discuss this amongst the group.
PARTAKERS OF THE DIVINE NATURE
I'm going to eat whatever is before me on the Lord's table, and because of this, my switch is turned on so that I may share and partner with the divine nature. The King James Version says to be “partakers of the divine nature,” but in the New Living Translation, it says to “share in His divine nature.” I get to share in His nature, which means I’m automatically going to escape the world's corruption caused by human desires. I live off of this. I get to live off 2 Peter 1:3-4. I’ve read this verse so many times, but I'm lit up right now. I've been a Christian for 40 years. I've had Jesus appear to me, but this verse lights me up every time. I live in the partaking, of being a partner, and being part of the divine nature. What is it like to be part of God's character, His divine nature? It is a substance.
When I was around Jesus, there's a substance that comes from Him. It's not doubt and fear or unbelief. It’s the kind of substance that makes you want to go out and whip the devil. It makes you want to lay hands on the sick and raise the dead. That's the kind of divine nature we have. There is no death in Heaven. There’s no sickness or poverty. There are no mental problems. There's no corruptness there. Everything is perfect. Down here, I pray that the kingdom of God would come to this earth and that God's will would be done on the earth as it is in Heaven. We have access to the Lord’s table. I'm going to take what I need, shoplift off the table of the Lord, and get a to-go box, and bring it back with me. I'm going to bring back healing and deliverance. I'm going to bring back these benefits that are mine. That's what Peter is saying. We have to take advantage of these benefits because they enable the promises. They flip the switch to on so we can be a partner with God.
We can be part of His nature. His nature is that when you come around Him, you are healed, you are delivered, and you have no lack. He's very wealthy. You don't even have to have money when you're around Him; He pays for everything. What would happen if you took John 14 and 15 seriously? It says that He comes and lives with you. If He's going to live with you, then He will pay your bills. I wouldn't expect God, who is very wealthy, to make you pay for everything. Why? Because a soldier doesn't pay to go to war. He doesn't go at his own expense.
No. A soldier is paid by the government to enforce laws and rules in their country. They're under command. They don't have to raise funds to be a soldier. It's the same for you. That's what Paul was saying is we don't go to war to be a soldier at our own expense, and we're not going to get caught up in civilian affairs either. As a soldier of the Lord, we're going to be a good soldier, and we're going to stay focused on our assignment.
o Now that you know what sharing in God’s divine nature provides and the ability it gives you to encounter healing, to heal the sick and raise the dead etc. How does this drive you to go out and reach others who need Jesus Christ? Does this excite and encourage you now that there is nothing holding you back? What will you do with it?
When I was in Heaven, I fell short not only in my experience down here, but I fell short in my understanding up there. I realized that there's no way to tap into everything. Don't be surprised if people start having experiences like Enoch did and then just disappear at the end of this age. There will be people that understand the narrow way. I saw that in the last days, people were shining. Their faces were shining, and they were so wise because they had overeaten off the table of the Lord, and they didn't come back. They started to live in both realms. Then one day, they just were not here. Don't worry about trying to define the rapture or when the Antichrist is coming. Why don't you just eat at the table of the Lord, and one day you just might not come back. You just might walk over, and God will say, you please me so much, I want you to stay. You won't even get to say goodbye, but we'll know where you went.
A COWORKER WITH GOD
1 Corinthians 3:9 TPT: We are co-workers with God, and you are God's cultivated garden, the house he is building.
• The term Paul uses here for being a partner to God is co-worker. He calls you a co-worker because you're working alongside God.
• It also says that you are God's cultivated garden. We're fellow workers with God in the field, and we are His garden, and we're cultivated.
• You are a house that He's building.
• You’re a partner with Him, and you get full rights to the benefits of being a partner.
• He has shared in His wealth; He has shared in His wisdom. He has shared in His health. He's shared in the power of the resurrection and the power of Jesus' name. We can use that name, and the devils have to listen just like they did with Jesus.
IN THE FAMILY
When the 70 disciples Jesus sent came back, they were blown away that the evil spirits listened to them; Jesus said, “No, don't rejoice that the evil spirits listened to you. He said, rejoice that your name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life,” which means you have been written in. You're part of the family. Jesus was focusing on the inheritance.
I know what He was saying there. We tend to focus on one thing, like how someone got healed or how the demon left or how you prayed for money, and it came supernaturally. These are all just one little thing off the table of the Lord. There's so much more, and Jesus was saying, listen, don't focus on this one thing. Focus on the fact that you're in the family and that your name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life. Don’t focus on the devils and how they left; focus on the fact that you are a child of God, and you've been adopted into the family. This is the good news of the gospel. You can share it with your neighbors, friends, and co-workers. It's called preaching the Gospel. These are things that are no longer hidden in the Word. They're being brought forth now. There are people in the field that are portraying the truth. They're not only saying it, but they're living it as well.

3. Talk in depth about the inheritance you have in Christ.
PRAYER:
Father, thank you so much. We just ask that you have mercy and have grace on everyone. Just favor everyone watching right now and our family all over the world. Father just shine your light on everyone. Smile and let the goodness of your presence just shine right now and rise up in everyone right now in the name of Jesus. I thank you, Father, that everyone starts to come to your table and eat with you and see that they are full of you. They are full of the spirit of God. They are full of the benefits, and they are being enabled to be partakers of the divine nature. I thank you for this in Jesus' name.
